Customizing your headphone experience has never been simpler! Our new patent-pending earpad mounting system uses a tacky polyurethane base on the bottom of the earpad so they can be swapped any time. By using a tacky surface, MrSpeakers’ ETHER 2 avoids the bulk and weight of magnet mountings as well as the size, inconvenience and longevity issues of stretch-to-fit mounting systems.
Our first two optional memory-foam earpads feature:
- Larger ear hole for increased soundstage
- A synthetic suede option for a warmer tone with more bass
- A perforated synthetic leather option for a reference voicing with exceptional midrange and high-frequency performance (a must-try for those who feel “the magic is in the mids.”)
- Earpads can be removed and replaced at least 70 times
- Cleanable mounting surface, simply wipe the tacky surface with alcohol to maintain stickiness
