Focal Naim America Releases “Mixed on Focal #6” and “Hip Hop / Rap Vol.2” Playlists

Two new stereo music streaming playlists with over 4-hours of music that features

Montreal, Canada — April 29, 2025 — Focal Naim America, a leading North American importer and distributor of premium consumer and professional electronics brands, has released two new HD audio playlists, with songs “Mixed on Focal” professional monitors. The playlists are available to Focal Hi-Fi and Pro Audio dealers, the Press Corps, and current and prospective customers.

The “Mixed on Focal #6” playlist features 50 stereo tracks mixed by engineers Jeremy Mang, Luca Pretolesi, Robert Guzman, Nick “Squids” Squillante, Athena Wilkinson, Will Yip, Bobby Campbell, Leslie Brathwaite, Dan Flynn, Gerry “The Gov” Brown, Mike William Levine, Rob Tavaglione, Brad Smalling, Mike Pepe, Bela Fleck, and Chris Meyer. Focal professional monitors used for the stereo mixes include Trio11, Trio6, Twin6, Solo6, Shape Twin, Shape 40, and Alpha Twin Evo.

The “Hip Hop / Rap Vol. 2” audio streaming playlist features over an hour of music from two engineers with deep connections to the genre, Leslie Brathwaite (Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Migos) and Bobby Campbell (Logic, Juicy J, Blu), while they both also feature mixes on the new “Mixed on Focal #6” playlist. Leslie mixed these selected tracks, including Sweet Honey Buckin from Beyoncé’s Grammy®-winning “Cowboy Carter” album, on Focal Twin6 and Sub12, while Bobby mixed his tracks on the Focal Trio11, including Not a Game (feat. Lucy Rose) on Logic’s “Aquarius III” album.

The two new “Mixed on Focal” playlists are available today for HD audio streaming services Apple Music, Qobuz, Tidal, Amazon Music, as well as Spotify who have announced a future CD-quality tier. New playlists to be released periodically.
